Learn Master Yang’s unique nurturing approach

  • Prevent pain and injury

  • Develop internal strength

  • Boost brain power and physical agility

This year, camp will be held at the Blowing Rock Conference Center in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

This simple and fun, yet effective, training blends Chinese philosophy and healing and martial arts with Western science; and is specifically designed for self-healing. At the end of this training, participants will bring home a complete routine designed to yield significant benefits in a short period of time.

Qigong and t’ai chi exercises, both still and moving, promote calm, balance, relaxation, and healing energy flow. The t’ai chi movements are chosen from the classic Chen t’ai chi 48 form and they promote flow, power, relaxation, balance and pain relief.

Functional Meditation addresses the roots of daily challenges by placing them in the context of positive, abiding truths of human experience. In this way, practitioners develop resources for converting the causes of stress into opportunities for constructive personal growth.

Continuing Chen T’ai Chi 48 Form Component: The t’ai chi component is part of a continuing t’ai chi sequence drawn from Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang's Chen 48 Form and will include:

  • Learn new forms 21-26

  • Review forms 1-20

  • Understand push hands application of forms

Silk Reeling, Level 1: This classic Chen t’ai chi and qigong practice enhances blood and energy flow to muscles and major joints to alleviate and prevent pain. It also gently extends range-of-movement in mechanically efficient ways and is an important, but often overlooked, tool in t’ai chi self-defense.
