WaQi for Balance of Body and Mind

This course offers training in exercises that strongly enhance physical balance. An additional component affecting balance is also addressed–that is the cultivation of mental equilibrium.

Using this curriculum in Dr. Yang’s doctoral study, elderly subjects–average age 80–tested as 10 years younger after 2 months of practice (read study #3, page 4). Movements for this course are drawn from the same Evidence Based 7 Form that produced these results. There are 16 lessons and each is about 15 to 20 minutes in length and consists of one movement and one stillness (meditation) practice. With modification, these exercises can be practiced by individuals in any physical condition.

“I really benefit from having a wide range of T'ai Chi and Qi Gong exercises to practice daily. They have made a big difference in my posture, balance, agility, strength, and sleep. I love the class and the videos.” —Marcia T

“The agility movements are fantastic — slowly taught step by step so even uncoordinated people like me can catch on — I do them every day because they’re fun and beneficial on many levels.” —Madeleine
