This camp focuses on learning forms #27-32 of the Chen 48 Form while refining 1-26 and includes Silk Reeling Level 1 to enhance energy flow, joint health, and mobility. Open to all levels, it combines traditional Tai Chi principles with modern insights to develop internal power, flexibility, balance, and a tranquil, positive mind. Dr. Yang's nurturing approach seamlessly integrates Tai Chi practices into your daily life.

Location: Blowing Rock Conference Center, nestled in the tranquil Blue Ridge Mountains.
Training: 5.5 hours of daily instruction personally taught by Grandmaster Yang Yang, PhD, with optional evening practice sessions to deepen your learning.

Tuition and Registration
Early Registration: $1,325 (Jan 6, 2024 - Mar 31, 2025)
Standard Tuition: $1,375 (starting Apr 1, 2025)
Bonus: Attend both camps and enjoy a $200 discount. (Discount applied after one camp is paid in full)

Application Process
Log into your WaQi account.
Submit the application form.
Receive approval within 1-2 weeks.
Upon acceptance, you will receive links to complete tuition payment and register with Blowing Rock Conference Center for lodging and meals.
Lodging and Meals
Lodging and meals are arranged through the Blowing Rock Conference Center, offering several options:
Single Occupancy Lodge Room (including meals): $687.92
Double Occupancy Lodge Room (including meals): $473.69 per person
Cottage (including meals): $428.59 per person
Meals Only (staying offsite): $203.09
Meals are buffet-style and accommodate special dietary needs. Reservations open March 15, 2025.
Transportation to Blowing Rock
Blowing Rock is approximately two hours from Charlotte Airport. You can:
Rent a Car: Directions available on the Blowing Rock Conference Center website.
Take the Hickory Hop Shuttle Service: Request direct drop-off at the conference center for an additional fee.
Reserve with EZ Shuttle.
Training Schedule
Tuesday, June 3: Check-in begins at 3:00pm; instruction from 6:30-8:30pm.
Wednesday-Saturday: 5.5 hours of daily instruction, plus optional evening training.
Sunday, June 8: Check out by 11am. Optional instruction from 8:00-9:00am and 11:00 AM-12:00pm.
Refund Policy
Cancellation by applicant before May 4, 2025: Refund minus $150 application fee.
Cancellation by applicant between May 4 and May 25, 2025: 50% refund.
Cancellation by applicant after May 25, 2025: No refund.
Full refund if camp is canceled by WaQi.
